Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter to maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, tour path, parking lots and common areas at our property. You’ll help maximize curb appeal while delivering high levels of resident satisfaction.

A high school diploma is required. You will handle snow removal, clean units, interact with residents professionally, and report maintenance issues promptly. We offer benefits, mentoring, development, and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
• Passionate for meticulous curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.
