1. Full Time Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)
2. Hourly Pay: $18.50
3. Location: South Amboy, NJ 08880

Summary

Residential and commercial property owners recognize the importance of Janitors in maintaining tenant, guest, and vendor health. Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) seeks friendly, detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to clean common areas and bathrooms, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for tenants, guests, and vendors. Politeness, respect, thoroughness, and observance of service quality are essential.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
2. Stripping, buffing, and waxing floors.
3. Dusting ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, and furniture.
4. Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
5. Emptying trash cans and washing windows.
6. Requesting supply orders, reporting breakages and repairs.
7. Assisting with projects and other job duties as needed.

Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for extended periods.
2. Lift 50 pounds or more.
3. Experience with cleaning products and equipment.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team.
5. Strong report writing and verbal communication skills.
6. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
