Position Details: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Porter to join our Affordable Housing Apartment Communities, Villas at Everest and Vista at Interpark in San Antonio, Texas. The community comprises 128 units.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Porter maintains company standards by supporting maintenance, landscaping, and management efforts to keep the property clean and orderly. The role focuses on creating a high-quality living experience, especially during initial move-in and move-out processes, and maintaining awareness of conditions affecting the living environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the property, including walkways, sidewalks, decks, hallways, stairwells, office and lobby areas, patios, sport courts, pool area, furniture, garages, pet parks, and other amenities.
• Empty, clean, and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Assist with cleaning vacant apartments and unit turnovers as needed.
• Use blowers in common areas, trim grass, and perform landscaping tasks.
• Prepare surfaces and carry out painting projects.
• Pressure clean common areas.
• Ensure all inventory items are in good working condition.
• Work effectively in indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to varying temperatures.
• Perform physical activities, including heavy lifting and ladder climbing, as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in the apartment industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and general maintenance.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and excellent time management skills.
