Job summary

Spitzer Autoworld in Northfield, OH is seeking a detailer/lot porter to support our busy dealership. You will detail vehicles, shuttle customers, and help maintain an organized lot and inventory, ensuring a high level of presentation and customer readiness.

The role involves flexible hours, adherence to safety and quality standards, and opportunities to grow within a large family-owned auto group. We offer benefits and supportive training programs.

Qualifications

• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles exterior and interior using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes.
• Shuttle customers to and from destination requested when their vehicle is in for service.
• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning vehicles.
• Place vehicle stock documentation in vehicles as requested.
• Keep inventory lots neat and orderly and move cars as directed by the Service Manager.
• Maintain facility and clean service bays, trash cans, drives and sidewalks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Detail vehicles exterior and interior using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes
• Shuttles customers to and from destination requested when their vehicle is in for service
• Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles
• Places vehicle stock documentation in vehicles as requested
• Keeps new and used inventory lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the Service Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Maintains facility, empty's trash cans, tidying service bays, cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary
• Fuels new and used vehicle deliveries as directed by General Manager or Service Manager
• Other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Outgoing, upbeat personality with excellent interpersonal skill
• Self-starter who is internally motivated to achieve established performance goals
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
