Galpin Motors is seeking porters to join the Hollywood Studio Rentals team in Hollywood, CA. The role involves moving vehicles, cleaning and detailing, and assisting with inventory and customer service. A valid California driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check are required.

This is a full-time position with full benefits after 30 days. You will support Sales and Service with vehicle placement, maintenance, and a welcoming environment for customers entering the showroom and

• Park all completed vehicles in the vehicle pick up staging area.
• Contribute to a welcoming environment by keeping all areas clean and tidy.
• Careful inspection of vehicles for cleanliness and readiness for customer delivery or service.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Some of What You'll Do:

Move vehicles to different areas of the dealership throughout the entire day

Assist Sales and Service Managers with inventory management

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid California Driver's License and Acceptable driving record

Authorization to work in the US

Ability to undergo and pass preliminary Background Check and Drug Screen

Experience operating a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions required

Professional work ethic and high integrity

Ability to work as a team and/or independently

• Open availability from open to close
• Availability to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Full range of arm motion to wash cars.
• Ability to work outdoors, exposing oneself to various weather conditions (high heat during spring/summer, rain and wind during fall/winter) while moving or washing vehicles on the lot.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel to inspect and clean vehicles, and to reach overhead to clean or retrieve items.
• The ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, moving vehicles within the lot, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Ability to maneuvervehicles in tight spaces and parking them accurately without damage.
• Ability to assist other team members in tasks that may require physical effort, such as moving equipment or setting up displays for special events.
