Galpin Motors is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Associate to join our team at Galpin Volvo. You will assist customers and internal technicians in identifying and purchasing the correct parts, using catalogs and VINs to ensure proper fit, and processing transactions with high accuracy.

• Communicate with service technicians and departments to support workflow.
• Follow company policies on safety, cash handling, and inventory control.

Some of What You’ll do:

• Assist customers (both retail and internal technicians) in identifying and purchasing the correct parts in a timely and professional manner
• Accurately look up parts using catalogs, software systems, and VINs to ensure proper fit and application
• Process sales transactions, including invoicing, payments, and returns, with a high level of accuracy
• Maintain organized and well‑stocked inventory, including receiving, stocking, and tracking parts
• Communicate effectively with service technicians and other departments to support workflow and minimize delays
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, cash handling, and inventory control

What we are looking for:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years parts counter experience

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

Professional work ethic and high integrity

Ability to work as a team and/or independently

Strong problem solving and follow up skills
