Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance Frontline Supervisor at our Portal Mines operations. You will lead safety-driven maintenance activities for mobile equipment and work under the Maintenance Superintendent to meet reliability goals.

The role requires a minimum of ten years of maintenance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities across Nevada Gold Mine locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of verifiable maintenance experience.
• Five years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others.
• Able to drive manual transmission mine tractor and other company vehicles.
• Willing to work a rotating night/day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for various types of equipment (mobile).
• Support the objectives of mine maintenance with the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Supervise the maintenance supervisors and planning of their career development.
• Ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company.
• Participate in maintenance planning processes.
• Ensure that departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
• Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value, focusing on cost management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Mobile Maintenance Frontline Supervisor at our Portal Mines operations. As part of the Underground Mobile Maintenance team, the successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company

• Performance of the essential job functions required
• Team based work skills required
• Proficient with basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), required
• Valid driver’s license, required
• Commitment to developing and maintaining a safe work culture, required
• Able to drive manual transmission mine tractor and other company vehicles (vans and trucks), required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
