Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor for the Portal Mine operations. You will lead safe maintenance activities for mobile equipment, supervise the maintenance supervisors, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience and strong leadership, with a focus on planning, reliability, and cost management. The position supports a rotating shift schedule at a major Nevada site.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of verifiable maintenance experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Professional communication skills with employees at all levels.
• Excellent leadership and influence skills.
• Must perform essential job functions.
• Team-based work skills required.
• Proficient with basic computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Commitment to safe work culture.
• Able to operate mine vehicles with manual transmission.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor at our Portal Mine operations. As part of the Underground Mobile Maintenance team, the successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for various types of equipment (mobile)
• Support the objectives of mine maintenance with the Maintenance Superintendent
• Supervise the maintenance supervisors and planning of their career development
• Ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company
• Participate in maintenance planning processes
• Ensure that departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met
• Administer company policies and procedures
• Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value. focusing on cost management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
