Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Frontline Supervisor for Portal Mines operations in Nevada. The ideal candidate will bring proven underground hard rock mining expertise and strong supervisory capabilities to lead teams and ensure safe, efficient equipment operation.

The role emphasizes coordinating with maintenance and engineering, training staff to standards, and maintaining a strong safety and performance record. A rotating schedule of nights and days is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of underground mine related experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a supervisory level required.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining required.
• Experience in an environment involving planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise and direct underground supervision required.
• Excellent safety and performance record required.
