Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor at our Goldstrike operations. You will lead safety-compliant maintenance activities for mobile equipment, supervise senior maintenance staff, and plan career development while aligning with the Maintenance Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of verifiable and related maintenance experience.
• Five years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others.
• Team based work skills.
• Proficient with basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license, required.
• Commitment to developing and maintaining a safe work culture.
• Able to drive manual transmission mine tractor and other company vehicles.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for various types of equipment (mobile).
• Support the objectives of mine maintenance with the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Supervise the maintenance supervisors and planning of their career development.
• Ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect employees and assets.
• Participate in maintenance planning processes.
• Ensure that departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
• Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value, focusing on cost management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor at our Goldstrike operations. As part of the Underground Mobile Maintenance team, the successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company
