Job summary

Allied Universal, North America\u2019s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Route Driver in Jacksonville, FL to safeguard government port facilities and other client locations. You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, monitor access, and respond to incidents with calm, professional judgment.

This full-time driving role offers a pay rate of $17.06 per hour, a consistent daytime schedule, and access to our Smart Tools,

Qualifications

• Customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and maritime facility users.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities and access points.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents and document observations and actions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and shift communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and maritime facility users while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, access points, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or access-control concerns through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
