Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen required by law and policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service at a government maritime transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, suspicious activity, and emergencies per post orders.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and maintain logs/reports of patrols.
• Communicate professionally with port users and government personnel.
