Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of police department functions, organization, mission and regulations relevant to law enforcement.
• Understanding of computer applications and software including Spillman CAD, RMS, Livescan and Armani.
• Familiarity with federal OSHA, state and county safety policies and CVSA/EZPost rules.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries about motor vehicle rules and policies; resolve issues and refer complex cases as needed.
• Provide motor carrier information and referrals for enforcement programs and other agencies.
• Issue permits, collect fees and taxes; reconcile cash receipts and deposits; ensure security of receipts.
