Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal motor vehicle laws and regulations.
• Experience in modern law enforcement methods and procedures.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• Must have AZPOST Full Authority certifications.
• CVSA certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Screen commercial driver and vehicle credentials.
• Weigh and inspect commercial vehicles and conduct inspections.
• Perform traffic stops and enforce relevant laws and regulations.
• Issue permits and collect fees as applicable; enforce compliance.
