Job summary

DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION in Arizona seeks a Customer Service Representative 2 to support port operations at the SAN LUIS international POE. The role interprets motor vehicle codes, assists with weighing, and ensures security of cash receipts and forms. Overnight travel may be required; background checks are performed.

Responsibilities include customer inquiries, issue of permits, and coordination with state and federal agencies. Strong attention to detail and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years administrative and/or operational support experience.
• Background check is required.
• E-Verify eligibility for employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries about motor vehicle administrative rules and procedures.
• Resolve customer issues and concerns.
• Provide information to other states' motor carrier entities and law enforcement.
• Provide motor carrier customer contact and information referral services.
• Issue permits, routes for over-dimensional loads, and collect fees; reconcile cash receipts.
