Job summary

State of Arizona is seeking a Customer Service Representative 2 to support Arizona Ports of Entry and offices. You will interpret motor vehicle codes, assist with weighing vehicles, and handle cash receipts and permits. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal motor vehicle codes.
• Experience with computer software used by law enforcement and enforcement operations.
• Familiarity with OSHA/state regulations and safe work practices.
• Knowledge of CVSA laws, AZ POST rules, and enforcement software.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries about motor vehicle rules and regulations.
• Resolve customer issues and provide information to agency partners.
• Issue permits, route over-dimensional loads, and collect fees.
• Reconcile cash receipts and prepare daily deposits.
• Identify when enforcement action is needed and refer to an officer or supervisor.
