Nordex Group is seeking a Logistics Port Lead Supervisor to manage port, laydown yard, and cargo storage operations for wind turbine components. You will act as the onsite representative for port logistics, ensuring safe vessel discharge, inventory control, and contractor performance.

You will travel domestically and internationally as required, lead safety briefings, coordinate with stevedores, crane operators, terminal staff, transport providers, and port authorities to keep projects on

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations considered
• 3+ years experience in port operations, heavy-lift logistics, project cargo, maritime operations, renewable energy logistics or related fields
• Experience supervising contractors and third-party service providers
• Experience supporting large-scale industrial construction or renewable energy projects preferred
• Experience managing HSE and quality programs within logistics operations preferred
• Wind energy and turbine logistics experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of vessel discharge operations and heavy-lift cargo handling
• Understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and component preservation practices
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced, schedule-driven environments
• Root-cause analysis and corrective actions experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems

Mansioni

• Lead onsite vessel discharge operations from arrival through unloading completion
• Coordinate daily operations with stevedores, crane operators, terminal staff, vessel crews, transport providers, and port authorities
• Monitor discharge progress to ensure schedule adherence
• Ensure safe handling of turbine components (blades, towers, nacelles, hubs, drivetrains)
• Oversee storage yard operations, inventory tracking, and component preservation
• Conduct daily safety briefings and promote a zero-incident culture
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
• Serve as primary onsite contact for logistics operations and stakeholders
• Provide operational updates, identify risks, and support mitigation planning
• Support transportation loading and cargo release coordination
• Inspect cargo condition and document damages or non-conformances
• Maintain daily operation reports and handover packages
• Supervise contractors and monitor safety, quality, and productivity
