Job summary

Nordex Group in the United States seeks an Operations Project Manager to support the readiness of wind power projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage execution readiness and hand off to Construction.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, cost accounting and budgeting knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Driving is required, and a valid license is needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with the full life cycle of power projects and business development.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills with a proven track record in successful project planning.
• Must possess a working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.
• Knowledge of financial management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers and customers.
• Driving is an essential function; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all primary activities in the value chain (Safety, Planning, Logistics, Material Management, Quality, Construction and Commissioning).
• Update the project execution readiness template weekly with deadlines and progress; manage deviations vs baseline.
• Update weekly/monthly execution readiness KPIs dashboard.
• Perform Execution Readiness tasks assigned to Construction until site team is identified.
• Act as the link between PMEPC and Nacelles/Blades GLFs to control component readiness via PCT committee.
• Provide offsite support to projects in execution as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
