Job summary

Nordex SE in the United States is seeking a Service Lead Technician Special Operations – Major Correctives to provide technical leadership and oversee major corrective projects across the wind fleet, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will lead safe execution of major corrective maintenance, component exchanges, and recommissioning projects, acting as technical lead for specialized operations while coaching technicians and coordinating field activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Wind Energy Technology or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in wind industry with troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Experience leading major component exchanges and complex field service activities preferred.
• Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings and schematics.
• Must maintain required certifications for medium- and high-voltage work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support safe execution of major corrective maintenance and component exchanges.
• Serve as technical lead for specialized service operations and inspections.
• Provide coaching and guidance to technicians and field teams.
• Coordinate field activities to meet Nordex quality standards.
• Manage lifting operations and ensure safety and certification compliance.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and service records.
