Hi-Tech Auto Group Marketing Director
Responsibilities
  1. Establishes marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and/or services.
  2. Plans and oversees the dealer group’s advertising and promotional activities including print, electronic, and direct mail media.
  3. Develops and executes monthly and annual marketing budgets.
  4. Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to ensure profit growth and expansion of dealership products and/or services.
  5. Communicates with outside advertising agencies regarding ongoing campaigns.
  6. Works with writers and artists: oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
  7. Creates and prepares all print advertising, radio and TV commercials, billboards, direct mail pieces, in-store point of purchase merchandising aids, interior and exterior signs, off-site displays, news releases, and stories.
  8. Works with the general managers to develop upcoming ad campaigns.
  9. Communicates marketing efforts to all dealership employees.
  10. Acts as liaison with news media and the manufacturer regarding merchandising.
  11. Attends pertinent marketing/sales promotion meetings conducted by the manufacturer and dealer associations.
  12. Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance.
  13. Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize competitive activity effects.
  14. Communicates with dealership employees to stay informed about customer attitudes, demographics, and buying habits.
  15. Communicates with customers to determine their needs and interests.
  16. Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, media placement, and merchandising policies.
  17. Seeks out and uses industry sources and consumer information.
  18. Prepares marketing reports and presents findings to dealership management.
  19. Develops surveys and other marketing tools.
  20. Tracks marketing results and takes corrective actions as needed to meet objectives within budgets.
Specific Digital Responsibilities
  1. Creating and developing strategies to drive qualified traffic to our website.
  2. Plan and oversee execution of digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, email marketing, PPC, and social media.
  3. Monitor and optimize ongoing campaigns, perform A/B testing, and maximize conversions.
  4. Identify digital traffic opportunities to grow sales and website visits.
  5. Stay updated on trends, platforms, and technologies in automotive digital advertising.
  6. Manage and optimize local store listings.
  7. Assess engagement on our website and external sites.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  2. Minimum five years of experience in Digital Marketing.
  3. At least three years of experience in the automotive industry.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  7. Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, Google My Business, Data Studio, and similar platforms.
  8. Experience with messaging and project management software.
