Job summary

The successful candidate will have extensive operations knowledge, prior meat-processing management experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Previous management experience in meat processing preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Excel; Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of production volume, quality, cost, and schedules.
• Ensure adherence to health and welfare procedures for employees.
• Analyze operations to address costs not met and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare and maintain production records.
• Maintain labor relations and enforce labor contracts; disciplinary actions when needed.
• Use corporate scheduling and meet customer requirements.
• Set accountability and goals with plant managers; participate in meetings.
• Report to General Manager on load claims, shortages, overtime, etc.
• Perform other duties as needed.
