Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• Experience in construction or mechanical contracting.

• Ability to organize and coordinate large projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor efforts for plant facility projects to meet time, budget and specs.
• Lead design and layout aspects of special projects.
• Obtain competitive bids for future projects.
• Assign personnel to designated areas for completion of projects.
• Arrange to have records prepared and maintained; attend meetings as needed.
• Communicate with maintenance, purchasing, production, storeroom and other departments.
• Lead capital planning efforts and understand project costs in all phases.
• Read blueprints and be able to interpret them.
• Be able to work any shift as needed.
