Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Associate in Los Angeles to deliver an outstanding in-store experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You will apply product knowledge, assist customers, stock shelves, and keep the store visually appealing while focusing on the in-store experience. You will work on the sales floor, operate the register, and support team members with merchandising, curbside pickup, and store-wide campaigns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Avenger-like collaboration and communication skills.
• Able to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, using product knowledge and customer-service skills.
• Cover the sales floor zone and keep areas up to visual standards.
• Work the register and process sales, driving add-on sales with benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup; assist with planogram changes.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Ensure no misuse of spells around theft and collaborate with Store Management to deter theft.
• Help keep stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Promote Team Spirit through effective teamwork; handle other duties assigned by the Store Leader.
