Job summary

Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Supervisor for Tide Coastal Kitchen on the 10th floor. You will support and supervise the team, manage daily operations, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining Omni standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months in a coffee house environment with supervisory experience, strong English communication skills, and proficiency with POS systems. Weekend and holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a coffee house environment.
• Previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment preferred.
• Cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience required.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to input information into POS software accurately.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned shift and assist management.
• Supervise and coordinate staff on shift.
• Communicate new information and train staff on procedures.
• Check staff punctuality and conduct.
• Handle guest comments and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Observe staff service and correct performance as needed.
• Assist with monthly inventory and financial data as required.
