Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum two years of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Ability to recognize spoiled or questionable products.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established menu plans.
• Wash, slice, peel, and/or cut various foods.
• Ensure quality standards and menu specifications are met.
• Communicate orders to dining room staff.
• Follow sanitation procedures and health regulations.

Skills

Knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education
