Job summary

The Dunlin, Auberge Collection on Johns Island near Kiawah River, seeks a Pool Server/Bartender to mix cocktails and deliver refreshments to guests poolside, blending hospitality with a refined, service-forward approach.

You will take orders, coordinate with kitchen and pool staff, maintain a pristine bar area, ensure guest safety and satisfaction, and uphold luxury resort standards. Prior server or bartender experience in upscale settings is preferred; alcohol-service certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server and/or bartender in a resort, hotel, or high-volume hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, with a polished, friendly demeanor and ability to multitask between bar and floor service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain) and commitment to responsible service and guest safety.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve premium cocktails, mocktails, and beverages while also delivering food orders promptly and elegantly to guests poolside.
• Provide attentive, personalized service by engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and maintaining a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and service station, ensuring all supplies, garnishes, and table settings meet luxury resort standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and safety, including responsible alcohol service, and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Accurately take orders, process payments, and coordinate with kitchen and pool staff to ensure seamless service flow.
