Job summary

The Dunlin, Auberge Collection, on Johns Island, SC is seeking a Banquet Bartender Captain to curate moments and flavors for luxury events at a coastal retreat. You will oversee event setup, staff management, and coordination with Sales and Event Management teams, ensuring flawless service across function spaces.

Applicants should have 1 year in hospitality bartending, strong spirits knowledge, and the ability to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine. Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Superior professional appearance and manner in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain state and local certifications (food handler/alcohol) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good rapport with clients.
• Coordinate delivery of equipment and beverages for meetings and events.
• Oversee setup and execution of resort special events.
• Attend functions and manage staff for events for smooth execution.
• Ensure knowledge of daily group functions, room setup, and spaces.
