Job summary

The Dunlin, Auberge Collection, on Johns Island near Kiawah River, seeks a Server Assistant to support the dining team and elevate guest experiences in a luxury coastal setting.

You will assist with table setup, beverage service, guest assistance, and maintaining cleanliness, contributing to smooth service and exceptional hospitality. English communication is required; weekends and holidays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Back Server, Busser, or Food Runner preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
• Ability to communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, including arranging utensils, plates, and glassware, and removing used items promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Assist servers in delivering beverages to tables, refilling drinks as needed, and ensuring guests have a positive and uninterrupted dining experience.
• Assist guests as needed, including answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring their comfort throughout the dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery, communicate guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to meet service standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surfaces, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.
