Job summary

Pool & Spa Depot in the United States is seeking a Pool & Spa Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair with a customer-first mindset. You'll inspect, troubleshoot, and service pools and spas, install equipment, and guide customers on proper use and care.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience in related fields such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, equipment installation/repair, general maintenance or construction.
• Willingness to learn with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service mindset with clear communication skills.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in customer-facing environments.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment safely and work outdoors.
• Open availability to work weekends and overtime during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while performing pool and spa maintenance and repair.
• Conduct on-site inspections, assess water quality, and perform necessary maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Test installed equipment to ensure everything is in proper working order.
• Install new pool equipment and assist with pool openings and closings.
• Provide clear, friendly, and professional guidance to customers on equipment use and pool care.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage inventory efficiently.
• Work safely while lifting and handling equipment, following proper safety protocols.
• Arrive at customer homes with a professional appearance and respectful demeanor, representing the company positively.
