Job summary

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in California is seeking a Pool and Recreation Assistant Manager for a full-time, on-site role. You will support the Director of Pool and Recreation with daily operations of our pools, waterpark, and recreation areas, and you will help coordinate poolside food and beverage service and guest activities to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The position emphasizes safety, service standards, and team leadership, with opportunities to train colleagues

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership experience in food & beverage; resort experience preferred.
• Experience in recreation, aquatics, hospitality, or resort operations preferred.
• Lifeguard experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Pool, Waterpark, and Recreation Operations: assist daily operations across pools, waterpark, recreation areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Poolside F&B and Guest Activities: coordinate service with culinary and operations teams; plan and deliver games and activities.
• Team Support: train, schedule, coach, and support colleagues; conduct safety briefings and trainings.
• Administrative and Operational Support: staffing plans, inventories, logs, training records, and process improvements.
