Job summary
Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas is seeking a Lifeguard (Full-Time) to maintain a safe pool and beach environment and deliver guest-focused service. You will assist with recreation rentals, answer hotel questions, and help create an engaging guest experience while working outdoors in hot or variable conditions.
The position requires CPR/Lifeguard certification and strong swimming skills, with flexible shifts including afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- CPR/Lifeguard certification is required.
- Superior swimming skills to perform rescues.
- Friendly attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather.
- Availability for afternoon, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Good stamina to stand and move for long periods.
- Physical strength to lift, push, and pull moderate weights.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean pool and beach environment for guests.
- Provide hotel information and assist with recreation equipment rentals.
- Deliver customer service and guest-focused experiences.
- Ensure pool area is clean and well-maintained; perform duties as assigned by management.
