Job summary

Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is seeking a Pool Operations Manager to organize and oversee all pool operations, including staffing Lifeguards, Pool Attendants and Pool Greeters, ensuring high-quality service, ambiance and cleanliness. The role demands staffing, scheduling and adherence to safety standards in a luxury resort environment.

The ideal candidate will manage training programs, coordinate lifeguard certification, supervise recreation staff, and maintain equipment and facilities

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency required, Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Hire staff, discipline staff, evaluate performance and document all aspects of employment.
• Training programs for groups and individuals to stress service, safety and product knowledge.
• Coordinates lifeguard certification & Training.
• Coordinates and trains all Pool and Recreation staff.
• Oversee maintenance of all equipment, and cleanliness of pool facilities.
• Staff Recreation for optimum labor costs and maximum service. Write accurate schedules within designated staffing guidelines.
• Payroll done accurately and on time.
• Work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures as outlined in Standards of Conduct.
