Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated individual to maintain the quality of our resort pools, spas, and fountains. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry, ensuring safety and cleanliness in all water features.

This position requires physical strength to handle equipment and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Must have flexible availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all pools, spas, and fountains in resort.
• Maintain safe and proper water chemistry levels in all water features.
• Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
• Troubleshoot pool and spa heaters.

Skills

Working knowledge of Synergy Program

Working knowledge of all pool equipment and water chemistry

Excellent driving record

Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather

Education

High school or equivalent education required

Overview

This role will ensure that our resort pools are well‑maintained and reflect an image of outstanding quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all pools, spas, and fountains in resort.
• Maintain safe and proper water chemistry levels in all water features.
• Maintain all equipment associated with pools, spas, and fountains.
• Receive direction for calls via radio.
• Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
• Clean all work areas after completing job.
• Fill out Daily Work form.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni House rules and regulations.
• Access computer‑based building automation system.
• Adjust house music levels using house music controls/fitness room and pool.
• Troubleshoot a pool and spa heaters.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Synergy Program.
• Working knowledge of all pool equipment and water chemistry.
• Maintain proper inventories of all pool related supplies and chemicals.
• Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures (exterior and interior hotel).
• High school or equivalent education required.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Must have a flexible availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, wind, and extreme heat.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and MVR background check.
