Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co is seeking an experienced Recreation Supervisor to lead the pool services at our Orlando resort. The role focuses on delivering safe, enjoyable pool experiences while coordinating a talented team of attendants and activities for guests.

You will ensure safety standards, manage equipment and inventories, and collaborate with vendors to create engaging pool-side experiences for families and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recreation/aquatics supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest safety in all pool areas and ensure adherence to pool safety standards.
• Maintain condition of pool safety equipment.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of pool, beach, guest shuttle, and pickle ball courts.
• Coordinate welcoming of guests to pool area and provide towels.
• Supervise pool towel inventory.
• Supervise guest pool activities, including pool movie nights and children's activities.
• Partner with outside vendors to schedule pool area activities.
• Assist in preparing weekly schedules for recreation attendant team.
• Train and coach recreation attendants to optimal performance.
• Supervise inventory of recreational equipment.
• Oversee pool furniture cleaning, maintenance and placement.
• Attend departmental meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
