NoHo Hospitality Group is seeking a Pool Manager for The William Vale

NoHo Hospitality Group is seeking a Pool Manager to join the team at The William Vale, a luxury boutique hotel in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.

The Pool Manager is a leadership role overseeing the operation of The Vale Pool and Terrace. The Vale Pool, Brooklyn's longest outdoor hotel pool, attracts many visitors each season. The manager will ensure a lively yet comfortable experience for guests, managing staff across departments such as food & beverage, housekeeping, security, front office/concierge, and lifeguards, while controlling service flow and inventory.

The pool features a seasonal deck serving cocktails and snacks by Chef Andrew Carmellini. At 60 feet, it is the longest hotel pool in Brooklyn and NYC, offering a unique way to relax and enjoy the sun.

Ideal candidates possess:

• At least 1 year of hospitality management experience
• At least 3 years of food & beverage experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Professionalism in all interactions
• Ability to develop and implement goals
• Reliability and responsiveness in communication
• Strategic thinking and business acumen
• CPR/First Aid certification (Red Cross)
• Physical ability to carry and maintain pool deck equipment up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities include:

• Managing pool bars and seating areas
• Controlling inventory of rentals (cabanas, chaise lounges, etc.)
• Conducting pre-shift meetings and relaying information to staff
• Executing financial strategies for rentals
• Collaborating with hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
• Partnering with leadership on operational strategies
• Working with Food & Beverage team on events
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Supervising inventory and supplies
• Ensuring safety protocols and security
• Maintaining food and beverage quality standards
