Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard for Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. You will supervise pool areas, respond to emergencies, and assist guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualified applicants should be 16 or older and complete a Hershey-provided Ellis & Assoc. Lifeguard Training Program. Flexible hours include weekends and holidays in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim 100 yards using front crawl or breaststroke without resting.
• Must be able to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain accountability.
• Must be friendly and able to interact with guests and coworkers.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce pool and attraction rules and safety regulations.
• Recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitor equipment and supplies.
• Maintain the pool area and surrounding environment.
• Participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
