Job summary

The Hotel Hershey is seeking a part-time lifeguard to ensure guest safety at the hotel pool(s). You will enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and maintain pool areas while staying test-ready in lifeguard and first aid skills.

Requires 16+ years of age, completion of Ellis & Assoc. lifeguard training, and pre-employment drug testing. Weekend availability is likely required, with duties including safety supervision and guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Complete Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program provided by Hershey properties.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
• Anticipate, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitor equipment and supplies.
• Maintain work area and surrounding environment.
• Lifeguards must stay test-ready for lifeguard and first aid skills.
• Participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
• Other duties as assigned.
