Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking pool lifeguards to ensure the safety of our guests while delivering courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. You will enforce pool rules, respond to emergencies, monitor equipment, and participate in weekly in-service training. This full-time role requires working 9am–9pm, weekends and holidays, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Must be 18+, complete the Ellis & Assoc. Lifeguard Training program funded by Hershey properties, and be capable of swimming 100

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Attend and complete the Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program provided and paid for by Hershey Entertainment and Resorts properties.
• Prior lifeguarding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and enforcing pool rules and safety regulations.
• Anticipating, recognizing, and responding to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Maintaining work area and surrounding environment.
• Lifeguards must keep skills at a test-ready level and participate in weekly in-service training.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
