Job summary

Capital City Club Brookhaven’s Culinary Department is seeking a motivated line cook for our Pool Kitchen. This full-time role offers health, vision, life, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match, hot meals, and uniforms.

The position reports to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef and requires standing throughout shifts. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of scratch cooking experience, strong English communication, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ year scratch cooking experience.
• Adept understanding of professional cooking and pizza making.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• This position will require 100% standing.
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.

Responsibilities

• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef or Sous Chefs.
