Capital City Club Brookhaven is seeking a reliable line cook for our Pool Kitchen. The role is full-time with benefits including health, vision, life, dental insurance, a 401(k) with company match, hot meals and uniforms. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Key duties include setting up stations, following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting chefs with ingredients and logistics. English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Adept understanding of professional cooking and pizza making.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
• 2+ year scratch cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef or Sous Chefs.
• Position Reports to Executive Chef and or Sous Chef.
• All job applicants will need to undergo testing for illegal drugs as a condition for employment.
