Job summary

FirstService Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the property's exterior and common areas. You will cut grass, trim around trees and walkways, clear debris, and ensure safe drives and entrances while following safety procedures and OSHA/EPA guidelines.

This full-time exempt position includes medical, dental and vision plans, paid holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and occasional training travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools (weed cutter, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf blower).
• Multilingual abilities are desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines on chemical storage/use.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May assist in loading/unloading of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains, services, cleans and stores equipment properly.
• Ability to safely use new equipment and follow safety procedures.
