We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals with an eye for detail to join our opening team at the Kaiya Beach House. Service team members will provide light food & beverage service in our 1st and 2nd-floor lounge areas as well as by our pool with stunning Gulf Coast views. You will be interacting daily with our discerning owners, club members, and vacation renters and their families who are in search of the best service experience while being able to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of Kaiya and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate knowledge of complimentary food & beverage offerings while maintaining cleanliness of bar and food service areas.
2. Guide guests through all phases of their experience at Kaiya Beach House and exhibit understanding of the resort amenities and local area.
3. Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies, and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and County health department.
4. Work as a team and effectively communicate with management, guest services, and other team members to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by owners, members, guests, and other associates.
5. Always be thoughtful, show enthusiasm, be humble, thankful, and respectful to all team members, owners, members, and guests.
6. Maintain a flexible schedule – available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
7. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Must possess a positive attitude and a desire to deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
2. Excellent customer service skills; knowledge of spirits, wine, and food are preferred.
3. Ability to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
4. Professional, neat, and tidy personal appearance.
5. This position is available to individuals 18 years or older, as the service of alcoholic beverages will be required.
6. High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
