Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Lanai seeks a Pool Attendant to deliver luxe poolside service, welcome guests, and ensure a seamless, memorable experience. You will assist with seating, deliver towels and amenities, and maintain pool area cleanliness while upholding service standards.

This role requires legal US work authorization; the Hawaii location offers a dynamic, upscale work environment with access to world-class amenities and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Legal work authorization in United States and Hawaii Food Handler's Card may be required.

POOL ATTENDANT

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Pool Attendant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

What You’ll Do

The Pool Attendant provides attentive, personalized poolside service by welcoming guests, assisting with seating arrangements, and delivering amenities such as towels, refreshments, sunscreen, and water service. This role accurately records and monitors guest preferences and details within service systems to support personalized experiences, while maintaining a clean, inviting environment and ensuring a seamless luxury guest experience through courteous and professional service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional poolside service by offering facility orientation, assisting with seating arrangements, setting up chairs and amenities, delivering water service, and ensuring a personalized and memorable guest experience
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs by providing amenity services, assisting with umbrellas and seating comfort, offering menu recommendations, addressing inquiries and concerns, and recognizing returning guests to deliver personalized service
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all pool areas through pre-opening inspections, setup and breakdown of seating and service areas, removal of used items, and transportation of towels, linens, and supplies
• Develop thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, daily offerings, and resort services to confidently answer questions and enhance the guest experience
• Accurately enter and maintain guest information within reservation systems while supporting smooth daily pool operations and adherence to service standards

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card is required for this role
• Maui Liquor Card Preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 75lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Customer service–oriented professional with strong attention to detail, ability to stay organized and composed in high‑paced, high‑volume environments, and physical capability to transport towels, chairs, umbrellas, large towel bins, and soiled linens.
