The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa in Virginia is seeking a Pool Attendant dedicated to delivering quality service to guests while maintaining safety and supporting daily operations.

You will greet guests, assist with towels and laundry, stock supplies, and help keep outdoor pool areas clean by following Omni standards and weather considerations.

Formación

• Customer Service Focused
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk majority of 8 hour average shift
• Ability to bend as needed to pick up trash and towels and fold linens as required for the majority of the shift
• Comfortable working in the outdoor elements during both hot and cold temperatures

Responsabilidades

• Know and adhere to Omni Appearance Standards
• Prevent injuries and protect property as per safety rules
• Know emergency actions and respond appropriately
• Communicate daily events, hours of operation and resort information to guests
• Maintain clean, safe work area and daily operations checklist
• Greet and serve guests, assist with towels and laundry, stock towel area, assist in F&B areas
• Spot clean pools with skimmers and brushes
• Check chemical levels and report issues to supervisor
• Notify supervisor of items to order
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

Overview

The Homestead Allegheny Springs Pool Attendant role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations work to create guests for life, by proactively embracing The Omni Homestead service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.

Essential Functions

• Know and adhere to the Omni Appearance Standards
• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others.
• Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners
• Maintains a clean, aesthetically desirable, and safe environment which meets the Omni Standards of Operations.
• Responsible for maintaining checklist/schedule for open/close procedures and daily operations.
• Performs facility tasks such as greeting and serving each guest, laundry, picking used towels and stocking towel distribution area, maintains deck and locker room cleanliness, assist servers with busing tables and cleaning F&B area.
• Spot clean pools with skimmers and brushes as needed.
• Ability to check chemical levels and report issues to the supervisor/manager as they arise.
• Makes supervisor and/or manager aware of any items that need to be ordered.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• And any other task as assigned by management

Tools And Equipment

• Broom, mop, cleaning supplies, washer/dryer, pool cleaning tools

Working Environment

• Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
