Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa invites friendly, motivated individuals to join our guest services team at our historic Virginia resort. You will check guests in and out, provide orientation, and help guests plan daily activities beyond the pool areas and dining options.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate effectively in a professional business environment.
• Ability to stand for 7 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and provide guest orientation.
• Schedule appointments according to Moments of Service.
• Handle cash transactions.
• Open and close Warm Springs Pools areas.
• Know resort offerings and share daily events and hours with guests.
• Educate guests about history and mineral properties of Warm Springs Pools.
• Maintain clean, safe environments per Omni standards.
• Restock bathrooms and supply areas as needed.
• Adhere to Omni Personal Appearance Standard.
• Perform other clerical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Checking guests in and out, as well as providing guest orientation
• Scheduling appointments, in accordance with Omni Hotel & Resorts Moments of Service.
• Cash handling
• Responsible for opening and closing of all areas of the Warm Springs Pools
• Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation, and resort/activity information to our guests
• Educating guests regarding history, mineral properties, and benefits of soaking in the Warm Springs Pools
• Maintain a clean, aesthetically desirable and safe environment which meets the Omni Standards of Operations
• Maintain bathrooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Know and adhere to the Omni Personal Appearance Standard
• Other clerical duties as needed

Requirements

• Customer service experience is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional business environment.
• Must have the ability to stand for 7 hours per day.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include AM/PM shift, weekends, holidays.
