The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa in Virginia is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations for a shift, manage equipment flow, maintain sanitation standards and supervise utility, pot washer, and dishwasher staff.
The role requires supervisory experience, strong leadership, and commitment to safety. You will ensure efficient workflow, train staff, and uphold quality service in a busy resort setting.

The Stewarding Supervisor role is to supervise the day-to-day operation of the department for a given shift. The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for the control and distribution of operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards, supervision of all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks.
Minimum of two-year Supervisory experience in a hotel strongly preferred.
Must have one year supervisor experience
Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time
Ability and willingness to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs
Ability and willingness to stretch and reach
Ability to effectively lead a team
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
Food Safety certification required.
Strong customer service orientation and skills.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent safety and sanitation skills.
Create a courteous, friendly, professional work environment.
Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays.
Must have unexpired Food Handlers - or obtain upon hire.
Computer literacy
Physical strength and stamina are essential to this position due to the high activity level. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
