Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Monomer/Polymer Operator in Athens, GA to join a premier manufacturing organization. This role operates on the 2nd shift (2:45pm–11:15pm) and pays $21.40 per hour, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

You will handle materials, run production, and contribute to LEAN, Six Sigma, and Maintenance Excellence initiatives. You’ll work with manufacturing teams, use test equipment, manage documentation, and participate in shift-change meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with mechanical or electrical skills.
• Strong math skills and understanding of decimals, percentages, and tolerances.
• Proficient computer/database skills and ability to maintain documentation.
• Able to operate basic hand and power tools (torque wrench, drill, gauges).
• Knowledge of GMP and ISO 13485 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing tasks in the Assembly area and support internal teams.
• Follow procedures to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
• Use gauges and microscopes for quality checks.
• Utilize software systems for compliance and documentation.
• Complete records and maintain a clean working environment.
• Support process improvements and participate in shift change meetings.
• Start up and shut down polymer production equipment.
• Monitor process parameters and make adjustments as needed.
• Manage raw material levels to support production demand.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes with experienced operators.
