Job summary

Republic Services in Allentown, PA is seeking an Operations Manager for the Polymer Center to lead Sorting, Grinding, Washing, and other production activities. You will manage a team of Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, Operators, and clerks to ensure safe, efficient operations and contract compliance.

You will work with the General Manager to execute strategic initiatives, optimize profitability, and implement state-of-the-art processes to reduce waste while growing certified plastics

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience with budgeting, planning and cost control in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Polymer Center operations including sorting, grinding and washing.
• Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary staff including supervisors, clerks and operators.
