Job summary

Diamond Cellar polishes, buffs and cleans fine jewelry at our Dublin workshop. You will remove scratches, restore shine, and inspect pieces using polishing wheels, ultrasonic cleaners, steamers and related tools.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in jewelry finishing, with strong attention to detail and a steady hand. You will work in a production environment, handle small components, and contribute to safety and labeling protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years jewelry polishing, bench work or related finishing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Steady hand coordination and precision.
• Knowledge of jewelry materials, metals and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a production or repair environment.
• Ability to work with small, delicate components for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Polish, buff, and clean jewelry pieces to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Remove scratches, file rough edges, restore shine to metals.
• Work with polishing wheels, ultrasonic cleaners, steamers and finishing equipment.
• Inspect jewelry for defects or damage and communicate issues to the Shop Manager.
• Ensure all pieces are properly handled, cleaned, and labeled.
• Maintain polishing tools, equipment, and workstations for safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures for handling precious metals and stones.
• Support the team with cleaning, assembly, and final inspection tasks.

What will you do as a Polisher at Diamond Cellar?

• Polish, buff, and clean jewelry pieces to achieve a consistent and high-quality finish.
• Remove scratches, file rough edges, and restore shine to fine jewelry made from gold, platinum, silver, and other metals.
• Work with polishing wheels, compounds, ultrasonic cleaners, steamers, and other finishing equipment.
• Inspect jewelry for defects or damage and communicate issues to the Shop Manager or designated jeweler.
• Ensure all pieces are properly handled, cleaned, and labeled throughout the process.
• Maintain polishing tools, equipment, and workstations for safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures for handling precious metals and stones.
• Support the team as needed with cleaning, assembly, and final inspection tasks.
