Diamond Cellar in Dublin, OH is seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler to repair and restore fine jewelry, including sizing, soldering, stone setting, and polishing. You will inspect, diagnose, estimate repair needs, and ensure work meets our quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a bench jeweler or related experience.
• Proficiency in stone setting (prong, bezel, channel, pave), soldering, fabrication and polishing.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform jewelry repairs including ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, prong re-tipping, chain and clasp repair, and polishing.
• Execute custom jewelry work, fabrication, and restoration as needed.
• Inspect, diagnose, and estimate repair needs for customer and store-owned jewelry.
• Ensure repairs and custom work meet company quality standards and timelines.
• Handle precious metals, diamonds, and gemstones with care and accuracy.
• Maintain an organized work bench and collaborate with team to support sales.

What will you do as a Bench Jeweler at Diamond Cellar?

• Perform jewelry repairs including ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, prong re-tipping, chain and clasp repair, and polishing/finishing.
• Execute custom jewelry work, fabrication, and restoration as needed.
• Inspect, diagnose, and estimate repair needs for the customer, and store-owned jewelry.
• Ensure all repairs and custom work are completed to company quality standards and within established timelines.
• Handle and work with precious metals, diamonds, and gemstones with care and accuracy.
• Maintain an organized work bench, tools, and equipment in safe and efficient condition.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and support sales efforts.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years professional experience as a bench jeweler, or related experience.
• Proficient in stone setting (prong, bezel, channel, pave), soldering, fabrication, and polishing
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CAD design and wax carving, a plus
• GIA certification, a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing process and materials
• Organized with strong communication skills
